Hello, my name is Irene Kenny,

I live in Mooncoin in Co. Kilkenny, Ireland.

I have been working as an artist from home for the past 15 years and it has always been my dream to make a living from my artwork. I have taken several courses and training over the years to gain considerable knowledge and techniques in creating my paintings. I achieved a Bachelor Honours Degree in Art and Design in Textiles from the Galway Mayo Institute of Technology and love using design concepts to create the fundamental basics of a painting, composition, value, form, line.

I paint in oils (primarily) and acrylics and have learned to paint using the traditional ‘atelier’ methods combined with my own style. I hope you enjoy my Artwork and thank you for taking the time to view my website.
